Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of Niyyah, an app operated by Hugo Software. By creating a profile you agree to them.
Who may use Niyyah
You must be 18 or older. Niyyah is for adults looking for marriage, and there is no version of it for minors.
One account per person. Do not create an account for someone else, and do not pretend to be someone you are not.
What you put in it
You own what you write and the photos you upload. By uploading, you give us permission to store them and to show them to other members of Niyyah — nothing else. We do not license your photos to anyone, we do not use them in advertising, and we do not train anything on them.
You must have the right to the photos you upload. They must be of you.
Photos are reviewed before anyone else sees them. We may refuse a photo without giving a reason. Common reasons: it is not a person, it is not you, it contains nudity, or it contains contact details.
What is not allowed
- Anyone under 18, or presenting themselves as under 18.
- Impersonating another person.
- Nudity or sexual content.
- Harassment, threats, hate speech, or contacting someone who has blocked you.
- Asking members for money, promoting a business, or recruiting for anything.
- Automated access, scraping, or trying to break the service or reach other people's data.
We can remove content, hide a profile, or end an account for breaking these rules. Where we can, we will tell you why.
Safety
You are meeting strangers. We review photos and we act on reports, but we do not run background checks and we cannot verify that anyone is who they claim to be. Meet in public, tell someone where you are going, and use the report and block buttons — they are on every profile and every conversation.
Paying
Niyyah works without paying. Free members can browse, connect and message.
Subscriptions (Plus and Gold) and one-off packs are sold through Google Play.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel.
- You cancel in Google Play, not in this app: Play Store → your profile → Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not refund the period you are in.
- Your payment method is charged by Google, under Google's terms. We never see your card details.
- Refunds are handled by Google Play under their policy. Write to us anyway if something went wrong and we will help where we can.
- Prices shown in the app are indicative. Google Play shows the actual price in your currency before you confirm.
Paid tiers raise your daily connection limit and unlock convenience features. They do not buy anyone's attention. Matching stays reciprocal: nobody is shown to you, or matched with you, because money changed hands.
Ending it
You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete account and data. It is permanent.
We may suspend or end an account that breaks these terms. If we end your account, any unused paid period is forfeit unless the law says otherwise.
The boring but honest part
Niyyah is provided as it is. We do not promise you will meet anyone, that the service will be uninterrupted, or that it will be free of bugs. We are a small company and we say so plainly rather than hiding it in capital letters.
To the extent the law allows, our liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability we cannot legally limit — including for death, personal injury, or fraud.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top changes when we do, and material changes are announced in the app. Continuing to use Niyyah after that means you accept the new version.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Türkiye, and the courts of Istanbul have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, this does not take away rights you have where you live.
